New HPE Customized ESXi Image Not Supported on ProLiant BL c-Class Servers

Davoud – In this article, you also link to “Network Connection Problem on HPE FlexFabric 650 (FLB/M) Adapter” – that seems to imply that this is the reason (or at least one of many reasons) that the January release of HPE Custom iso VMware-ESXi-7.0.1-17325551-HPE-701.0.0.10.6.3.9-Jan2021.iso is not supported on BL C-Class servers. If a c-Class environment does not have any of these Emulex-based adapters but rather is 100% QLogic/Marvell 630 FLB, is there any reason why VMware-ESXi-7.0.1-17325551-HPE-701.0.0.10.6.3.9-Jan2021.iso would not work properly? I see that the noted January image *does* include MRVL-E3-Ethernet-iSCSI-FCoE–3.0.121.0-1OEM.700.1.0.15525992 which is the latest supported driver for this 630FLB hardware per the HPE Support site as well as the VMware Compatibility Guide.

  It seems, the issue will be resolved in future release.
